Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide Customer Service
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour
  • Offer timely assistance to customers in order to ensure their needs are met
  • Solving conflicts or any issues arising throughout the customer’s dining experience
• Take Orders
  • Presenting menus & answering questions as well as offering suggestions
  • Explain menu items as and when needed especially patrons with special dietary needs
• Serve Food and Beverages
  • Responsible for bringing orders from kitchen to customers
  • Maintain and organize the record of orders
• Clean and Prepare Tables
  • Making sure that tables are prepared for events
  • All table must be kept clean at all times
  • Ensuring cafe maintains a proper standard of cleanliness and sanitation
• Process Payments
  • Ensure patrons receive their bills in a timely manner
  • All orders are properly listed and priced
  • Receive and process payment, operating POS (if required)
  • Return paid checks and receipt to the customer
  • Responsible for resolving any discrepancies in billing

Education & Training

• Min “O” Level and above

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous serving experience
• Food preparation experience

Skills & Abilities

• Possessing general math skills
• Having the capacity to lift heavy items on occasions
• Provide excellent customer service
• Being able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Have some sales ability

Working Conditions

• Indoor work environment
• Hours/shifts TBC
• Basic gross salary of s$1599
• Given annual leave, medical leave and basic insurance
